The 2020/21 season was a historic one for Kelty Hearts, as they competed in Scottish League Two (fourth tier) and were crowned league champions. Kelty finished top of the table with 64 points from 36 matches, securing automatic promotion to League One. Even more impressively, they went the entire league season unbeaten, winning 20 matches and drawing 16. It marked their first ever promotion into the SPFL, a huge milestone for the club after years of rapid progression through the non league ranks.
