Legendary Looks. Unstoppable Performance.
The Loch Ness 2023/24 Away Shirt, crafted by Appin Sports, is a bold and distinctive piece that captures the spirit of grassroots football. Designed for the North Caledonian League, this shirt features a striking red base accented with black and gold elements, embodying the club's vibrant identity.
Inspired by the legendary Loch Ness monster, the shirt showcases a unique graphic that sets it apart from typical football kits. This design choice not only pays homage to the club's heritage but also offers a fresh and contemporary look. With its lightweight fabric and breathable construction, the shirt ensures comfort during matches and training sessions.
Loch Ness FC was a football club based in Fortrose, in the Scottish Highlands. Established in 1999 by Shane Carling, the team originally played in local amateur and welfare leagues. In 2020, they stepped up to senior football by joining the North Caledonian Football League, marking a new chapter for the club.
Their home ground was King George V Park in Fortrose, where they built a solid local following. The club reached a major milestone in the 2022–23 season by winning the North Caledonian League title for the first time, earning them a place in the Scottish Cup where they took on Luncarty from the East of Scotland Premier Division.
Loch Ness FC became known for their eye-catching kits inspired by the legendary Loch Ness Monster and for strong ties to their community, including partnerships with local businesses like WooHa Brewing Company.
Sadly, the club withdrew from the North Caledonian League in early 2024 and folded ahead of the 2024–25 season. Despite their brief time in senior football, Loch Ness FC made a memorable impact on Highland football.
