Margate used the same Home shirt across a three season spell in the Isthmian League South East Division. The 2020/21 season was cut short due to COVID restrictions, with the league ultimately declared null and void, meaning no final standings were recorded. In 2021/22, Margate completed a full league campaign, finishing mid table and showing signs of stability after a disrupted previous year. Results were mixed, but the side remained competitive throughout the season without being drawn into relegation trouble. The 2022/23 season followed a similar pattern, with Margate again competing solidly in the division. While they didn’t mount a promotion challenge, they stayed clear of the bottom places and focused on consistency, squad continuity, and rebuilding on and off the pitch.
