Worthing FC enjoyed a very strong 2024/25 campaign in the Vanarama National League South (sixth tier), finishing 4th in the league table with 88 points from 46 games — just missing out on automatic promotion by a whisker to the likes of Truro City and Torquay United. They compiled an excellent league record of roughly 26 wins, 10 draws and 10 defeats, scoring plenty and showing consistent form across the season. Worthing’s campaign included big wins like a 5-1 road victory at Enfield Town and solid results like a 3-0 home win over Hemel Hempstead Town as they pushed near the top end of the table. The league position earned them a play-off spot, although they were unable to secure promotion through the post-season route. Worthing also competed in cup competitions, reaching the FA Trophy proper while their FA Cup run ended in the First Round against Morecambe.
